Blenheim Model
Aero Club's flying site is located on the ARA vineyard on
state highway 63 approximately
10 km from the Renwick, West Coast road turn off. Club
members meet at our flying site every Sunday morning. If you are
interested in radio controlled flying, please feel free to visit
our flying field on a club day. Alternatively, if you are
interested in joining our club, contact our club Secretary.
As
well as our regular Sunday club days we also host an annual fly-in once
a year, and several float fly's on one of the large lakes on ARA's
vineyard.
Our club members have a wide range of interests in model radio controlled
aircraft including scale, vintage, aerobatics, electric, gliding and jet turbines
and are willing to share their knowledge with anyone
else who has an interest.

After a week of rain, overcast days and high winds, we couldn’t
have hoped for two better days. The weather was perfect, beautiful
blue skies and not even the slightest breeze. This year the
emphasis was on having fun, and I think everyone sure managed
that.
The weekend's event was attended by modellers from clubs around the
top of the south down to Canterbury, with a wide range of model
types from ARF's through to jet turbines.
The weekend was also attended by large numbers of public who were
treated to an awesome display of model aircraft flight.
